Downtown Martinez Has Free Bike Repair Stations

One of the things I enjoy most about exploring Martinez by bike is stumbling across things I didn't know were there.

On my ride home from yoga one morning, I discovered a public bike repair station in the parking lot at Escobar and Ferry Streets. It's one of those little downtown amenities that's easy to overlook—until you're on a bike and actually need it.

The station includes a bike pump, wrenches, screwdrivers, and other basic tools for quick adjustments while you're out riding.

And it's not the only way downtown is becoming a little more bike-friendly. New bike racks have also been added around Downtown Martinez, making it easier to park your bike and spend some time exploring.

Ride In. Park. Explore.

Whether you're coming from the waterfront, or simply riding around town, having places to make a quick adjustment or securely park your bike makes a difference.

Once you're on Main Street, lock up your bike and stay awhile. Grab lunch, stop for coffee, browse the shops, catch some live music, or continue down toward the waterfront.

🚲 Bring a bike lock and make an afternoon of it. Downtown is compact enough that once you've parked your bike, much of Main Street and the surrounding area is easy to explore on foot.

And now that I've spotted one repair station, I'll be keeping an eye out for more.
